Farina Tahir, MS, LPC, NCC

Hi there!

My name is Farina Tahir. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specialized in working with children and parents. I am also a Certified Clinical Service Provider for ADHD through the lifespan (ADHD-CCSP). 

I have a great passion for unifying and strengthening relationships within families. I firmly believe that connecting with others and with oneself is where profound change occurs. Finding the blocks in one’s life and discovering constructive ways to heal can lead to deeper connection and healthier relationships.

I graduated from Southern Methodist University with my Masters of Science in Counseling, where I received specialized training working with children, parents, and groups. I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and Child Learning and Development from The University of Texas at Dallas and have worked in the medical and service industry for over twelve years.

When I’m not working, I can be found surrounded by my cats, deeply immersed in a novel, painting, or tending to my exotic plant collection.
