Heidi Hiett

Hello!

My name is Heidi Hiett. I am a graduate student in Colorado Christian University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program with a Marriage and Family emphasis. I am a former educator with over 20 years experience working with students and families as a teacher, interventionist, and administrator.

I have a passion for children and for helping people build loving, healthy, supportive families. I have completed the Gottman Level 1 and Level 2 training to help couples with their communication needs. I love working with children and utilize play therapy techniques with the hope of one day becoming a registered Play Therapist.

My husband Bryan and I have been married 26 years. We have two grown children, whom I love dearly. I am a former Army dependent who moved frequently, which I believe led to my love of traveling and working with all kinds of people and cultures. I love the Lord and have embraced his calling on my life to be a beacon of hope to others.  I am active in my church and l have had the privilege of serving on several national and international mission trips. In my spare time, besides traveling, I love to read, hike, and bake.
